Performance Grade Bitumen is an advanced paving bitumen classified according to its performance under specific temperature and loading conditions. This system evaluates the bitumen’s ability to resist rutting at high temperatures, fatigue cracking at intermediate temperatures, and thermal cracking at low temperatures.
Common grades such as PG 58-22, PG 64-22, and PG 76-10 are produced in accordance with AASHTO M320, ensuring reliable performance, durability, and longterm
behavior in modern asphalt pavement applications.
